このごろ息子のお友達の住んでいるゲイテッド・コミュニティー（塀で囲まれた中に家が建っていて、共同のプールやスポーツ施設が整っているところ。ゲートがあって部外者は簡単に出入りできない。）のプールに連日泳ぎに行っています。子どもが何人も集まって皆で泳いだりジャクジーに入ったり。その間親はテーブルでおしゃべり。このあたりは、自分のうちにプールがあるか、あるいはプールのあるコミュニティーかアパートに住んでいないと、すぐ遊びにいけるプールがないので、こうやって一緒に誘ってもらうのはありがたい。。。This is my son's buddies in a Jacuzzi in one of his friend's neighborhood pool. We do not have a pool nor live in a neighborhood with a community pool, so we need to get invited like this to enjoy pool. Parents sit at the pool side table and enjoy the conversation. Nice way to pass a summer evening.
フラッシュするとこんなかんじ。次の朝みんなサマースクールやバンドがあるけれど、夜10時まで遊んでいた。ま、夏休みだもん、よろしいでしょ。It looks like this with a flush. They stayed until 10 am, even though most of them have a summer school or band class starting at 8 or 9 am next morning. It's summer after all. We just relax and enjoy the life.
