息子のお友達が目を怪我した。Yの字のプラスチックでできたパチンコで何かを飛ばそうとゴムを引っ張ったら、プラスチックが割れて、パチンと目にあたっちゃったの。ラッキーなことに瞳にはあたらず、網膜に傷がついただけですんだからよかったけど。でも眼球が内出血していて痛そう。1週間は安静にするようにいわれちゃったらしい。これは「早く直って」のお見舞い。しかしながら、息子にカードを書いたらといったのに、目を怪我して眼帯している絵を描いた。男の子って直接的というか味気ないというか。。。こんなものなのかしらねえ。One of my son's buddies got his eye injured. He was playing with a plastic slinger and stretched the rubber pretty hard. Suddenly the plastic gave in, and the piece landed on his eye. Luckily it missed the pupil. But it is very painful just to watch him, since he has internal bleeding on the cornea. This is a get well flower arrangement we made for him. My son drew this card on the top. I was expecting a message like "I hope you feel better soon" or some of that sort. But boys do not operate that way...
