ここ数年の不況でずいぶんと値下がりした我が家（もう引越しが目前なのにまだ売れず）。ものの価値は、なんとはかないものでしょう。でも、永遠に値下がりしない資産ってなんでしょう。それはやっぱり、友人や家族と共に過ごした日々の想いで！この写真に写っているのは、大切な友達ふたりからもらったスクラップブック。ここバージニア州シャーロッツビルで過ごした9年間の想いでが詰まっています。私たちの子どもたちは（全部で7人！）、ともに食べ、ともにねむり、ともに泣き、ともに笑いあいました。ひとつの大きな家族のように育ちました。うちの子は私の友達のことを”mommy”と呼び、友達の子どもたちも私のことを"mommy”と呼びます。7人の子どものうちひとりは、今年、mommy3人のうちふたりの背を抜いてしまいました。それでも、私たちは永遠にあなたたちのmommyです。
Well, it may be quite depressing that our house has depreciated quite a lot over the past years, but do you know what never depreciate over time in this world? That is memories you shared with your friends and family. Shown in this picture is a scrapbook that THE BEST friends of mine (two of them) worked on until 2:00 am for days just for me and my family. It is full of memories which we shared for the past 9 years in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our kids ate together, slept together, cried together and laughed together. Seven of them grew up as a family. My kids call my friends "mommy" and theirs call me "mommy". Although one of the children is now taller than two of the mommies, we will stay your mommies forever! What a blessing!
